MPC is based in Soho - London, Santa Monica - CA and Yale town - Vancouver. The facilities are centrally located, networked and have a dedicated digital infrastructure.
MPC works on some of the most exciting commercials in the world today. By mixing fresh talent from different cultures, we’ve built a dynamic team of artists and a diverse creative portfolio. Recent creative work has included spots and virals such as Nick Gordon’s Cadbury; ‘Spots V Stripes,’ Michael Gracey’s Evian; ‘Skating Babies,’ Audi, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ for Sam Brown and the John Lewis ‘Always a Woman’ for Dougal Wilson. The team were also instrumental in contemporary classics such as Juan Cabral’s Cadbury’s ‘Gorilla Moments’, Jonathan Glazer’s, Sony Bravia ‘Paint,’ Frank Budgen’s Sony ‘Bunnies’ and the Volkswagen Golf GTi, ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ (N-eo).
MPC Digital takes traditional VFX to the plethora of new Advertising channels available today; whether banner ads for internet websites to special projects such as code driven LED installations, the team can advise on how to re-use content created for traditional media in today’s world; or indeed start something from scratch…
MPC’s Data Lab creates workflows for data acquisition; namely the increasing number of jobs shot using the wide range of digital cameras; the team will develop efficient data management and archive pipelines for Canon, RED, Phantom and Si2K cameras.
MPC also serves the international feature film industry; involved throughout the process from developing concept art through to delivering final compositing the team brings to life the vision of the most creative of filmmakers. Recent international feature film work that MPC is proud to have worked on in the past months includes; ‘Prince of Persia,’ (Mike Newell) ‘Robin Hood’ (Ridley Scott) and ‘Clash of the Titans,’ (Louis Leterrier) and they are currently revisiting earlier work on the next outings for both the Narnia and Harry Potter franchise as well as Zach Snyder’s ‘Sucker Punch’. They have recently been awarded sequences for the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Digital connectivity means no communication boundaries when working on international projects. Work in progress can be transferred between Clients and MPC for approval and we are proud to offer remote Telecine grades between the MPC bases in London and Santa Monica.
